Hi! I’m Ivette.
Role
I am the Corporate Controller at Headquarters and I have been with AMS since September 2019. I am like a financial steward. Working with the Accounting team to collect from our clients, pay vendors on time and make sure all financial transactions are recorded in our accounting records.
I have been working for a long time now, but I still continue to learn from my co-workers and learn new things about the business. Being part of the team, learning things together and making progress in how we do things in Accounting are what I am most proud of.
Challenges
There have been quite a few changes in our team but knowing that your other teammates are there, working together makes it easier to overcome these challenges.
Motivation
Every day is a blessing knowing this is the job that I chose to do and like to do so giving my best can be fun, too.
My biggest inspirations at AMS are the Executive team – looking at them as they run AMS, with all the challenges and still see them as caring bosses to the employees and the community. It makes me so proud to be part of AMS.
The best advice I can give to someone at AMS would be to give every task your all, so at the end of the day, you know you did your best.
