Featured Employee of the Week
Ana C., Inventory Control Supervisor, Williams, CA.
Hi! I’m Ana.
I am an Inventory Control Supervisor at Williams, CA, and I have been with AMS since January 2015.
My proudest work accomplishment has been keeping our clients happy with my performance and completing tasks timely.
My mentor is Cristy Gomez, Inventory/Receiving Manager at Williams. She is a great trainer and is very patient in helping all team members. She has helped me learn valuable aspects of the warehouse and continues to help me grow in my role as a Supervisor.
My biggest career goal is to achieve the next step in my position moving up and becoming a great leader for the rest of my team.
The most challenging assignment I have worked on is having to complete an order that is being picked up the same day before the driver arrives to pick it up.
If I could go back to the start of my career and give myself one piece of advice, it would be to believe I can do any task and job handed to me and do not get discouraged thinking I can’t.
If I could switch jobs with anyone in the company for a day, I would switch to the IT department. They do so much for the company and solve any issues that we have in a timely matter. I would like to see everything they do and how they work with technology.
One misconception that I wish people better understood about a specific part of my identity is that although I look shy and quiet, I tend to push myself and be more outgoing.
Now Let’s Have a Little Fun!
A mantra that I live by is “Love the Life You Have.”
My coworkers would be surprised to learn that I am passionate about cars. I work on my own cars including repairing and replacing parts to see what could best improve the car’s performance.
My favorite family recipe has always been enchiladas made specifically from my mom’s.
My favorite hobby outside of work is discovering new places while spending time with family and friends.
If I were on a deserted island, the three items I would bring with me are a knife, a water canteen, and a first aid kit.
Thank you, Ana, for growing with AMS!
