Hi! My name is Stephen.
I joined AMS back in November 2021 and it has been an awesome ride! My job is to support the company’s day-to-day operations on the technical side and troubleshoot any technical issues that may come up.
A challenge I have faced here is learning every application that is used for operations. At first, I was very confused and frustrated but with the guidance of my manager and the IT Team as well as determination, I was able to learn more about these applications and how we can fix them.
I motivate myself by helping others and my team. Just seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces every day and the hard work that every team member does makes me want to work harder. It’s the energy that I feel every time I come to work.
I am very proud of all the projects I have participated in. No matter how small or how big each project has been, I have learned so much from my team and my peers.
My biggest inspirations within the company are the operations team. They are one of the backbones of the company and to see the hard work they put in every day is inspiring.
The best advice I can give to someone just starting is to soak up all the knowledge you can from the people who know it best. Your managers and the people you work with have an abundant worth of knowledge and it’s up to us to seek that knowledge and tap into that.
When I am not at work I sing in a choir, I am really into cars, and I used to be a background actor. My passion for cars will never end and you will always see me either in an aftermarket car show or cruising with a group of friends. So back in college since I didn’t have a job yet, I used to do background acting for 6 years doing tv shows and movies. I had fun and lived out my acting dreams for a while, but it was hard work.
I am truly humbled and grateful to grow professionally here at AMS. I have learned so much from my manager and the IT team as well as developed strong friendships within the company. I am very excited about what’s to come and hungry to grow more here at AMS.
