Advantage Media Services, LLC (AMS) is a private company that is majority-owned by AMS executives Ken Wiseman (CEO/Managing Partner) and Jay Catlin (President/Managing Partner). Although profitable and financially self reliant from its first days of operation, AMS is securely backed by a private investment firm that allows AMS immediate access to operating capital for virtually any investment, expansion or growth situation that may arise.

AMS Executive Biographies

Ken Wiseman, CEO/Managing Partner:
Preparing to grow and manage an aggressive, young, smart, and talented fulfillment team - 28 years of progressive management experience... Not having a sluggish, stifling corporate atmosphere... Priceless!

Through the years, Ken's managed fulfillment of product and promotional material for hundred's of clients, as he crossed the country managing companies with operations in Massachusetts, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, Chicago, and California. Anyone settling in California for any length of time understands why this latest move represents a permanent transition.

For Ken it's all about the passion - the challenge - the accomplishment. Starting his career as a teacher, Ken made the jump into business. Parallel to his career growth in business and attainment of an MBA from Univ. of Hartford, Ken also set world records in ultra triathlon events, volunteered as an ambulance attendant and fireman, regularly spoke to school and business groups about the power of visualization, coached sports, climbed mountains, and brought up 2-boys. Ken's better half, Betty-Lou Wiseman, (V.P. of Client Services), has been with him throughout all of his professional endeavors and to this day helps him deliver on every commitment.

Ken's favorite statement that derives from his motivational speaking is: "March into the future, embrace what it is that you want to accomplish, drag that vision back into the present, and implement a plan to make it happen." The truth is that while Ken and business partner Jay Catlin are staring into the future to navigate the company's growth, an incredible team of dedicated associates are indeed making it happen.

Jay Catlin, President/Managing Partner:
Jay Catlin developed into a fulfillment guru over the 10 years he spent with one of the dominant national fulfillment and customer care companies as a Sr. Executive in Operations and New Business Development.

Jay moved on to take over operational responsibilities for a leading independent packaged media (DVD/CD) company, re-entering the industry that was brave enough to accept him in upon graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 1991. Jay's first order of business, oddly enough, was to form a new fulfillment entity to assemble packaged media product and displays, warehouse and manage finished goods inventory, fulfill product orders to hundreds of retailers across the US and process retail returns. Advantage Media Services, Inc. (AMS) was formed to do just that, and together with his business partner (Ken Wiseman) and some very bright and talented individuals, AMS has grown into a true impact player in the world of 3rd Party Fulfillment.

The folks that make up the AMS Team are for the most part fulfillment "Lifers", many of who were some of Jay and Ken's favorite industry associates from their past.
