Plug and Play Approach – Operating within the Clients’ Operating Systems

Not often will a fulfillment company agree to manage a client’s program in an unfamiliar systems environment… and in many ways we agree. It’s simply not feasible that a 3rd party fulfillment company trains its people to operate within dozens of unique operating systems. This said, AMS has successfully operated businesses on outside systems for clients that have sound operating logic and a certain level of order activity… and we continue to succeed in this environment today!

Through a stable Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection over the Internet, AMS is able to tap in and operate directly within our clients’ chosen operating platform. Deliveries are received, inventory is stored and orders are shipped real time within the client’s own system, with AMS generally gaining access only to those modules that are necessary for Order, Inventory and Warehouse Management. So when the situation and circumstances allow for it, AMS will train its people and operate within a separate order management system that is controlled by the client.
